‘Spring into colour’ exhibition announced

‘Spring into colour ‘ an exhibition featuring my latest series of tree paintings alongside beautiful batik paintings by Jo Whiteland is scheduled for the month of March 2019.

The show will be held at the Bristol Tobacco Factory from Wednesday 6 March until Tuesday 2 April 2019. We are taking over the main bar and the snug, a huge space and wonderful foil for some of our larger artworks.

‘Spring into colour’ is just that, a burst of vibrancy to herald the new season and banish the greyness of winter. Although our work is presented in different media it is complimentary as we both work in bold colours and the subjects are inspired by the natural world.

My paintings include a series of small acrylic and mixed media works on paper that will be exhibited in the snug and  a selection of large paintings on canvas and cradled board that will hang in the main bar area. This year has been all about trees and you can see the inspiration behind the works that we will both be showing on the Tobacco Factory website here.

Win an original painting

We are offering two small original paintings in a prize draw that will be made after the exhibition is taken down in early April. Entrants will need to sign up to our mailing list and the draw will be offered during the lead up and duration of the exhibition and on our social media channels. Watch out for the announcements on the draw detail at the beginning of the new year on Instagram.

Meantime here are a couple of paintings that will be included in the show. All images copyright Mary Price.

  1. Gorgeous work! Do you have prints for sale anywhere? The color, energy, and movement plus one of my favorite subject matter make me fall in love with these.
